Hi! I’m Jenny, a millennial HENRY. I practice law in Washington, D.C. where I live with my husband.
I was born in the Dominican Republic and raised in Massachusetts by a single mother. My mom insisted that going to college and obtaining a graduate degree would change the course of my life and career. She was right. I would not have the HENRY lifestyle if it were not for my education. Although my mom worked incredibly hard to ensure we never went without, my current lifestyle is still completely new to me and my family. Being the first in my family to go to college in the United States and earn an advanced degree changed the trajectory of my life. Now, I’m #blessed to enjoy the fruits of my hard work.
Therefore, like most HENRYs, when I am not at toiling away at work, I enjoy travel, new experiences, and a good outfit. My obsession with all the above led me to create this blog. I yearned for a creative outlet to air out my thoughts on the HENRY lifestyle, and the headaches that sometimes accompany it.
I invite you all to join the conversation with me! Sit down, scroll, and let’s discuss HENRYing it up, the Jenny way.
